Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma of Parotid Gland with Infratemporal Extension: A Rare Case Report

Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a slowly developing malignant tumor of the salivary glands, occurring more commonly in minor glands and rarely parotid glands. It has potential retrograde perineural spread to adjacent structures spaces. Here we report rare case ACC gland extended infratemporal fossa with vascular invasion, reflecting advanced stage disease. After consulting ENT specialists radiation oncologists, palliative surgery was performed followed by adjuvant radio/chemo therapy.
